Teen sentenced to prison following deadly chase

A young man received a 40 year prison term for killing someone during a police chase in east Houston. Harris County jury sent 18-year-old Frank Marron to prison for the murder of Homero Rosales in January of last year. Police started chasing Marron because he was in a stolen truck. Marron crashed the truck into an SUV, killing Rosales and a passenger riding with Marron.

"We feel it was just," said Mario Rosales, brother Of Homero Rosales. "Unfortunately, you know it's not gonna change the fact that it's gonna bring my brother back. But just, you know, hope that things he realizes the damage he has done."

Marron will stay in prison until he turns 39 because he must serve at least half his sentence before he becomes eligible for parole.
