Crews are burning off excess propane in derailed train cars

Flames are shooting out of train cars in Santa Fe, but it's just crews burning off excess propane fumes, following last week's train derailment. Crews have been removing tanker cars after the derailment near FM 646 and Highway 6 last Thursday. Some of the cars have liquid propane in them, so trucks will remove that. More than half the cars have already been moved.

Crews say the burn off isn't a threat to the surrounding environment.
