Galveston police raid Lazy Lounge, arresting 13

GALVESTON, TX A number of complaints from citizens of illegal activity occurring inside the establishment led to the raid of the Lazy Lounge at 5202 Avenue S. A team of 11 officers entered the bar at 11:30pm Wednesday. They checked all of the bar patrons for warrants and other violations of the law.

The raid resulted in the arrest of 13 people, facing a total of 21 charges. Seven of those arrested face drug charges. The other were arrested on outstanding warrants.
