The deputy opened fire, hitting the woman in the hand. The mother wasn't hurt.
Deputies shoot woman in north Harris County
HOUSTON Investigators say they were called to a house on Casper and Hurlock in north Harris County early Sunday morning. The woman was sitting on a couch with two guns pointed at her head. Deputies say she'd been threatening to shoot herself and her family. At one point, the deputy says the woman turned toward her mother.
