Authorities say the suspected drunk driver jumped over a freeway wall and got away.
Suspected drunk driver blamed for deadly wreck
HOUSTON
Police say a drunken man was speeding when he slammed into the back of another car on the Eastex Freeway near Laura Koppe.
That car got stuck at an overpass and was hit by an 18-wheeler.
The driver of the car was killed.
The passenger was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
