HOUSTON --
Families looking for a holiday meal can head to the George R. Brown Convention Center today. Organizers are still looking for volunteers to help with today's big feast. The City Wide Club of clubs is sponsoring the 31st annual Christmas Eve big feast. At least 40,000 people are expected to attend. The group still needs volunteers to serve meals. It also needs donations of toys, clothing and household items to be given away at the feast. You can drop of those donated items at the covention center.
If you want to help, volunteers shifts are available between 7am and 6pm.
