Attorney: Convicted judge won't apologize to accuser

HOUSTON On Monday, Judge Don Jackson was sentenced to 30 days in jail and two years probation after he was found guilty of official oppression. Ariana Venegas claimed Jackson propositioned her in exchange for helping to dismiss her DWI charge. Venegas demanded Jackson apologize to her by 5pm Wednesday or face a lawsuit.

Jackson's lawyer says the judge apologized to his wife and the public for the case, but will not apologize to Venegas.
