Man found stabbed to death inside car

HOUSTON The body was found on Kiley Road near Desert Marigold.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says authorities discovered the body after a woman called them around 1:30am to report her husband missing. But when they arrived at the scene, they discovered the body of a man stabbed to death two doors down from the couple's home inside the husband's car, which was parked on a driveway at a vacant house.

The sheriff's office hasn't confirmed that the deceased man is, in fact, the woman's husband. However, neighbors tell Eyewitness News it was definitely him.

Investigators say they don't have any history of domestic calls with this couple, but neighbors say the couple fought often and very publicly. They say the couple was arguing late last night, as well, and that deputies were out there during that dispute.

"And the cops were even out here at midnight when my son left to go to work," said neighbor Denise Hogan. "So they had been fighting all night."

"Your son saw them?" we asked.

"Yes," she replied.

"What did he tell you?"

"He just called (me) to make sure my alarm was on and that my doors were locked," said Hogan.

Hogan said the fighting between the couple was loud.

The couple reportedly owns a jewelry kiosk at Greenspoint Mall.

Investigators say they do not have a suspect in custody at this time, but they say investigators are talking with the wife. She left her home in her own car to speak with investigators
