Noted Houston attorney Joe Reynolds dies

HOUSTON A Marine, he fought on Iwo Jima. He was called back to serve in the Korean War, where he suffered frostbite. Reynolds served as a regent at Texas A&M University for 16 years. The medical school building at Texas A&M is named after him.

A respected lawyer in Houston, he was also a Bible scholar at Second Baptist Church.

Reynolds will be buried at Forest Park in a military ceremony tomorrow at 9:30am. A memorial service will be held at Second Baptist at 11am.
