Both the officer and the other driver were rushed the hospital in serious, but stable condition. There's no word what happened to the driver the officer was chasing.
Officer injured in head-on accident during chase
HOUSTON
The officer tried to pull over a driver late last night at South Main and Chimney Rock, but the driver took off. The officer was traveling on South Main when someone cut him off, causing his car to cross the median and into oncoming traffic. A car going eastbound slammed head-on into the officer's car.
