Family accused of operating fraudulent towing companies

HOUSTON A lawsuit filed Wednesday by Allstate Insurance Company says three family members operated several towing, storage, and repair companies and over-charged for routine tow services and vehicle repairs. Some of the companies named include National Auto Collision, Budget Auto Collision and South Loop Storage.

Allstate says the lawsuit is on behalf of more than 100 Houston area-drivers. The lawsuit is seeking damages totaling more than $180,000.
