Suspected meth lab found near high school

PORTER, TX Officers were called out to a shed on Sandy Lane in Porter overnight. When they got there, John Allen Ransom, 40, was walking out the door and authorities could see several substances used to make meth. He was arrested and charged with manufacturing meth.

It's being treated as a first degree felony since the lab was less than 700 feet from Porter High School.
