Partially clothed woman's body found behind gas station

HOUSTON Police say the woman's body had been dumped behind the Valero station at West Airport and Fondren. Witnesses recognized her and say that she was familiar in that area. Homicide investigators tell us that there were no visible signs of trauma, so they were unable to determine an immediate cause of death.

"The Valero station has cameras and at this time, we are trying to determine what they were able to film and not film and we are going to be getting with our audio and video forensic people on that," said L.A. Flores with the Houston Police Department.

The woman's body was taken to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Houston Police Department.
