Gene Locke concedes Houston mayoral race to Annise Parker

HOUSTON Annise Parker has defeated Gene Locke in Houston's mayoral election. Other winners include Ronald Green for city controller and in the Houston city council races, Stardig, Hoang, Costello, Lovell and Jones.

In Bellaire, Parker and Friedberg won their respective races. In the HISD trustee races, it's Lara and Marshall also claimed victory Saturday.
