There were some terrifying moments for fast food workers held at gunpoint through a drive-thru window. It happened at the Jack-in-the-Box on Reed Road off the South Freeway. Police say the suspects pointed a gun at employees, told them to clean out the cash registers and then ran away with thousands of dollars in cash.

The robbers were last spotted running through a nearby apartment complex, but police officers couldn't find them.

The restaurant workers were shaken up, but otherwise OK.
