No changes planned yet for HISD

HOUSTON According to HISD spokesman Norm Uhl, HISD buses will run as scheduled. Officials don't currently anticipate any problems, but they are closely monitoring the forecast. Even in the event of a light snowfall, school leaders likely won't disrupt bus service or release students early.

Some schools are turning on their heaters today and will leave them on overnight. Maintence crews will be in place early Friday in case any schools experience problems with heat.
