The city of Galveston is giving out free rides on their newly repaired electric buses, starting Monday. Starting Monday through January 3, people can catch rides that follow the city's existing trolley lines along two routes to UTMB, the Strand and the Seawall for free. The e-buses were damaged in Hurricane Ike. They were fixed with help from the e-bus corporation.

The buses will run from 10am to 6pm every day. Starting January 4, fares are $1.50 for adults and 75 cents for kids.
