Fire breaks out at NW Houston apartments

HOUSTON Smoke and flames billowed from an upstairs apartment off Nathaniel and Ledge. Firefighters worked quickly and put out the blaze in about 10 minutes. Everyone made it out safely. Firefighters say the fire started in the chimney.

Only one unit was burned. Smoke and water damaged the surrounding apartments.
