Humble ISD to hold H1N1 vaccination clinic

HUMBLE, TX [SWINE FLU: Symptoms, questions and answers and more]

It will take place this Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9am to 5pm. HCPHES will offer the vaccinations at the three Humble ISD high school campuses within its jurisdiction: Atascocita, Humble and Summer Creek. Vaccinations will be available on a first come, first served basis. All vaccinations will be in the form of an injection.

Four target groups are especially encouraged to get H1N1 vaccintaions. These include nurses, staff who work with preschool children and Community Learning Center employees, staff with compromised auto-immune systems (i.e. diabetes), and staff who are pregnant.

Additional clinics are expected to be offered. Humble ISD will use its Your Schools Insider communications system to send out email and text message notifications when the dates and times are set.
