Man sought for 2 bank robberies

HOUSTON The man was first noticed on November 10 when he robbed a Chase Bank on Eldridge Parkway.

On Saturday, the same man walked into a Chase Bank on Jones Road and demanded money from the teller with a note. When he displayed a handgun, the teller gave him the money, agents said. He fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Witnesses describe the robber as a black male between 25-30 years old. He is 5' 5" to 5' 8" tall and weighs 150-170 pounds, with a dark complexion. He was wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a distinctive black tee shirt with writing on the front.

Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest and charging of this man should call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477). There is a $5,000 award.
