Robbery suspect opens fire on officers

HOUSTON Officers were called to a robbery at a home on Jensen and Sumpter around 1:15am. That's when they saw three men who fit the description of the suspects. When the officer tried to stop them, one man started firing.

The other two men were caught, but the gunman got away. The officer wasn't hit.

Police say the men may be responsible for a string of robberies in the area.
