The bus' driver just assumed the siblings just missed school Wednesday, investigators said.
When their mother went to greet them off the bus, she realized they were missing. While she later found their backpacks at their home, deputies said.
Some nap sacks with food and clothing near a retention pond, deputies said, but they could not confirm the clothing belonged to the missing children.
Deputies have not released details about the investigation or where the children were found.
