Driver slams into officer's squad car

HOUSTON The driver took off after officers tried to pull him over for a traffic violation along the North Freeway. He ran into a cop car near West Road and then finally surrendered at a gas station on Imperial Valley.

Investigators say the suspect rammed into the squad car while trying to drive around spike strips. That driver was arrested and will be charged.
