One dead in fiery wreck in W. Harris County

HOUSTON Deputies say the driver was speeding on Highland Knolls near Chelsea Park when he clipped a car as he passed it. His car crashed into a tree and burst into flames. The driver of the second car and a neighbor say they tried to rescue the man, but were unsuccessful.

The driver died at the scene.
