Teen's gun missed during arrest

HOUSTON According to a Houston police spokesperson, officers arrested a 16-year-old boy suspected of possession of marijuana around 3am. The juvenile was searched on the scene and then taken to the HPD Juvenile Center where he was reportedly searched again. Finally the boy was taken to the Harris County Juvenile Probation Center, where the gun was found on him in his cell.

Houston police are investigating.

Charges are pending against the teen for possession of a weapon in a juvenile facility.
