Veteran HPD officer found fatally shot

HOUSTON Investigators say Francisco Lopez was found dead off Pruitt Road early Saturday morning. They say the gunshot wound appears to be self-inflicted, but they haven't said whether it was an accident or suicide.

Lopez was an 11 year veteran of HPD.
