Woman killed after phone call for help

HOUSTON Police say the woman called her boyfriend from her home on South Camden Parkway and said that she heard someone trying to break into her house. Her boyfriend drove to her home and knocked on the front door but there was no answer so he called 911. Deputies arrived to find the woman had been shot to death.

"Deputies entered the house and found her dead on floor with her six-year-old sister next to her," explained Sgt. Larry Davis with the Harris County Sheriff's Office. "The six-year-old sister is not injured. She's in good shape. We have a deceased female, a victim of a gunshot wound inside the house.
