AT&T customers suffer technical difficulties

HOUSTON AT&T's wireless service experienced an equipment issue that affected customers from Houston to the College Station area. Customers with 2G wireless data services couldn't send or receive emails and text, or use mobile web services. Voice services were unaffected.

By 2:30pm, AT&T issued a statement saying service has been fully restored.
