Houston named software piracy hotspot

HOUSTON The Business Software Alliance said Houston, and Texas in general, was the worst when it comes to companies using software illegally. The group maintains a tip line to report software piracy, and says most of their tips come from the Bayou City.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area came in a close second. Austin and San Antonio came in a distant third and fourth nationwide.
