New HPD division created
HOUSTON The division joins the sex crimes unit and the family violence unit. Chief Harold Hurtt and District Attorney Pat Lykos announced the new "special crimes division" this morning downtown. Officers will work together with the DA's office to help the crime victims and get their attackers prosecuted.
