FBI needs your help to find bank robbery suspect

Authorities need your help to track down a man who robbed a bank Tuesday in northwest Houston It happened at the Wachovia Bank at 235 West 20th Street shortly after 3pm. Officials with the Houston office of the FBI say a man walked into the bank and approached the teller counter. He reportedly held up a note, which said he had a gun and wanted money. The teller complied, handing him loose cash.

The suspects then left the bank and was seen getting into a green Ford F-150 driven by someone else. That vehicle was recovered at a nearby apartment complex around an hour after the robbery.

Police later discovered that the pickup had been stolen earlier in the day from a neighborhood in north Harris County.

Witnesses described the bank robber as a black male, 20-25 years old, 5'5" tall, 150 pounds, slender build, clean-shaven with sideburns. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black tee shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes.
