Bond set for man accused of killing girlfriend

HOUSTON Police believe 20-year-old Keith Allen Kupferer shot and killed 16-year-old Patricia Rangel. Officers found her body behind a vacant house Wednesday morning but think she was fatally shot Tuesday night.

If Kupferer makes bond, a judge says he cannot have any contact with victim's family and must wear an ankle monitor.
