Ex-deputy constable to pay back toll fees

HOUSTON Yesterday, Dennis Walker pled guilty to covering up his license plate to avoid paying toll road fees. His trial was supposed to begin today.

Ironically, Walker was assigned to catch violators on toll roads in Harris County.

His punishment includes paying back almost $1,100 and he can never be a peace officer in Texas again.
