Two-alarm fire breaks out at apt. complex

HOUSTON The flames broke out around 1am at the Wilcrest Townhomes on Wilcrest near Beechnut. When firefighters arrived they found heavy fire shooting through the roof. They quickly pulled a second alarm but managed to contain the fire with no problems.

The entire complex is supposed to be empty with no utilities running to the buildings. The cause is under investigation.
