Suspects arrested in string of robberies

HOUSTON A fourth suspect has been identified and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

All three suspects are charged with aggravated robbery. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Department, they're believed to be responsible for about half a dozen convenience store robberies in the past month. During one of the robberies, the suspects shot a store clerk in the leg and hit another in the head with a hammer. Both victims are recovering from their injuries.

In a separate case, three male suspects have been taken into custody. They're accused of posing as buyers of Rolex watches on Craigslist. Investigators say the suspects would decide on a meeting place with the seller. They would look at the merchandise, pull a weapon on the seller and leave with the merchandise. The suspects are believed to be part of a ring responsible for five to six cases, both in Harris County and the city of Houston. All three face multiple charges of aggravated robbery.
