Jury selection begins in 2nd 'Baby Grace' trial

HOUSTON Twenty-six-year-old Royce Zeigler II is facing life without parole if convicted. He is accused of beating Riley Ann Sawyers to death and then throwing the two-year-old's body in Galveston Bay in the summer of 2007.

For the next three days, more than 1,200 potential jurors will be screened. They will be whittled down to 125 jurors, who return later in the month for final jury selection.

It's still unclear whether Zeigler's 21-year-old wife and Riley Ann's mother, /*KimberlyTrenor*/, will testify against him. Trenor was convicted in February and is serving a life sentence for the death of her daughter.

Riley Ann was named "Baby Grace" because no one knew her identity for months. Her tragic death captivated the Houston area and even made headlines around the world.
