Driver in deadly hit-and-run appears in court

HOUSTON Abdikadir Guta, 25, is charged with failure to stop and render aid. Police say he struck Johnnie Holly as she rolled her wheelchair on the feeder road of the Southwest Freeway earlier this month.

Guta told investigators he didn't know he'd hit a person because it was dark and raining that night.
