Suspect leads police on chase

HOUSTON Police say it ended on the city's south side when the suspect bailed out on Madrid near Yellowstone. Authorities say the suspect robbed a woman at gunpoint at her apartment complex before getting into a car and speeding off. Police then spotted that car speeding down Cullen Boulevard and chased the suspect.

The suspect finally abandoned his white car and ran into a wooded area. Police set up a perimeter to search for the suspect, who may still be armed, but there is no indication of the suspect's whereabouts.
