Kids meet doctors who saved them

HOUSTON These kids look healthy now, but they needed life-saving medical care at Texas Children's Hospital before they were even born. On Saturday, the hospital's Fetal Center held a reunion to let the children meet the doctors who saved them and let the doctors see how their patients have grown.

"Just seeing everybody come back, doing well, it's a testimony of our work as well as a renewal of our purpose and our commitment to our mission," said Bella Balleza-Bascon, Nurse Coordinator at Texas Children's Fetal Center.

Eighty families attended the reunion, some from as far away as Mexico and Honduras.
