Man, woman sought after shooting death

HOUSTON Back on September 10, investigators say a verbal altercation broke out between Chelsea White and Darrell Mouton in front of a home in the 17,000 block of Quail Park Drive in Missouri City. Police say White threatened to have someone kill Mouton for threatening her and left the location.

After the argument, Mouton went to a home on Bell Blossom Lane. White came to the house, as well, along with Dorian Thomas and one other person. Police say Thomas began to assault Mouton outside the home. Mouton ran inside the home and closed the door and that's when investigators say Thomas pulled out a gun and fired through the door, striking Mouton.

Mouton was transported to the hospital, where he later died.

White and Thomas have been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Fort Bend County. The charges could be upgraded to murder.
