Three accused of hiding stolen meat in pants

FRIENDSWOOD, TX Police say David Glaze, Joseph Smith and Laura Wylie all tried to get away from the store in Friendswood on Friday, but officers caught them.

HEB employees called police after they say the suspects left the store without paying for meat they had tried to hide in their trousers. Employees provided a good suspect and vehicle description.

It didn't take officers long to track down the suspects. Glaze, Smith and Wylie were all taken into custody. They now face charges of misdemeanor theft.
