Trial begins for woman accused in deadly wreck

HOUSTON Jeri Montgomery, 24, is charged with criminally negligent homicide with a deadly weapon. Police say in March of 2008, she made an unsafe lane change and hit a car, causing it to hit another car which flipped over and ejected the victim.

Prosecutors and witnesses say she was on the phone at the time.
