Dr. Oz brings free medical care to Houston

HOUSTON Some of the uninsured lined up before dawn Saturday to get in to the free clinic. Oz, the National Association of Free Clinics and 700 volunteers provided check-ups, tests and minor procedures.

Among those showing up Saturday was 35-year-old Margo Graham who had triple bypass surgery four years ago. She's a former center for the WNBA's Washington Mystics.

She starts a new job on Nov. 1 and will have insurance.

Oz said he hopes that patients leave with a sense that someone cares about the uninsured.

Texas has the nation's highest uninsured rate and one in every three Harris county adults lacks health insurance.
