Traffic violation turns into wild chase

HOUSTON Police say the driver of the truck took off down the East Freeway hitting speeds of 100 miles per hour. He then went south on the Loop and then back up north on Highway 288 before finally being captured near downtown.

During the chase, officers say the suspects threw out two large bags filled with what they believe is cocaine. The three suspects are now in police custody.
