Warning for parents in Katy

KATY, TX Katy ISD police are investigating a suspicious person who tried to pick up a child near Memorial Parkway Elementary. The incident occurred Tuesday just before 4pm when the suspect asked the girl to come over to his vehicle. The girl ran to a neighbor's house and the suspect drove away.

The man is described as Hispanic with black hair and a goatee. The car is described as a small, red 2-door hatchback.
