Mother arrested after four-car wreck

HOUSTON The wreck happened just before 6am. The woman's two kids were in the car when she crashed into a wall at West 18th in west Houston. They were not strapped into car seats.

First responders and police believe they smelled alcohol on the mother. She was taken to the hospital for a mandatory blood draw. Her children were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

People in the three other cars involved in the wreck suffered only minor injuries.
