Officer injured in wreck in SE Houston

HOUSTON It happened around 10:30pm yesterday off Mykawa near Allison. A pickup truck was waiting at an intersection when the driver suddenly pulled onto Mykawa. That's when the truck collided with the officer's cruiser.

The officer was taken to the hospital with a broken nose and a fractured arm. The driver of the truck ran away and hasn't been found.
