Woman targeted by racist graffiti

CYPRESS, TX The swastika was painted on the garage door of Roslyn Perry's home late Sunday night. Perry was coming home from visiting some family members when she made the discovery. She says she has her suspicions that it may be a result of some workers nearby who could have been angry about a recent incident.

Perry has reported the incident to law enforcement officers. Perry told Eyewitness News that officers suspect teenagers may have been responsible for the vandalism, but she doesn't agree. Perry adds that she feels violated that someone has defaced her home.

She said, "It's sad that you can't have anything in these days and times without somebody destroying it, something that I worked so hard for."

The investigation is continuing. Several neighbors have approached Perry to offer their sympathy and outrage that an act of hate has occurred.
