Beer heist turns into terrifying ordeal

HOUSTON Back on August 22, two Hispanic males approached the front of a CVS located at 1616 South Mason Road. Police say as one of the suspects stood at the front of the store on a cell phone, the other suspect grabbed a 12-pack of beer and left the store without paying.

The store clerk followed the suspects and told them to stop. That's when investigators say one suspect then told the other suspect to shoot the clerk. The suspect who had the beer produced a pistol, but didn't fire it.
