One dead in apartment shooting

HOUSTON Shortly after 4pm, police were called to the Victoria Park apartments on Southcourse at Spice. The call initially came in as a shooting in progress. Two people were shot. One victim was killed and police are not sure if the second victim will survive.

Authorities say an unknown number of others have been injured. The details of the shooting are not yet known.

Two people were taken into custody. Police were questioning them at the scene.
